Hassan Tower
Hassan Tower is the only witness of an unfinished mosque, whose construction was initiated by Sultan Yacoub El Mansour in the twelfth century.
This mosque was to be the second largest mosque in the Muslim world and the tower was a peak of over 60 m, but only reached 44 m.
Masterpiece of traditional Moroccan art, the tower has different sculptures on each of its faces.
This famous site of Rabat has also been chosen to build the Mausoleum of Mohammed V where King Hassan II and his father built. It is a beautiful monument covered with precious materials (marble and onyx).
Kasbah Oudaya
Kasbah Oudaya is a small walled city of Rabat, countless gardens and streets lined with houses with blue and white facades maze.
You can admire Almohad pregnant and his famous monumental gate, Bab el Kebir, the known Djemaa el Atiq Mosque, an Alawite speaker and the princely house built between 1672-1694 during the reign of Sultan Moulay Ismail.
This building houses the Museum of Oudaya having the richest collections of Moroccan costumes, jewelry, pottery and musical instruments from all over the country.
The Necropolis of Chella
Chella necropolis was chosen as burial site by Marinids in 1339, on the site of a Roman city whose remains have been several updated.
